Never a dull moment!

Ryan is almost 18 months old now and he is changing and learning new words everyday! Some of his new words this week include: please, thanks, share, nice, "shoes -on" and socks! He wants to do everything himself- including taking out the trash to the trash can. We actually had to "pretend" Ryan was carrying the trash bag by himself- although it was much too heavy for him to carry. He is so thrilled to hear "Good Job Ryan"- he gets all excited and claps his hands- it is so cute. He loves taking baths and once he hears the sound of the tub water running from upstairs, he instantly becomes so happy and says "bath . . bath . . .bath". Recently, when we take him to the grocery store, he will wave at strangers and simply say, "Hi!" (in the cutest little tone) and wave his hand back and forth. Ryan also helps mommy with laundry! The laundry is placed at the bottom of the stairs and Ryan will carry the laundry from the stairs to the laundry room, piece by piece, one by one- even going back to make sure he didn't forget any piece along the way.
